The name literally means “the little collar of the mountain.” It refers both to the perfect foam head on a beer (“colarinho” in Portuguese) and to the mountain landscape (“serra”), blending the idea of a finely crafted beer with the natural beauty of the Serra dos Órgãos region. They offer three flavors: Munich Helles, Vienna, and Weiss. All are pure malt and share one thing in common, the perfect head. The inspiration for the creative concept was the freedom of nature. The bird illustration pays tribute to the rare Gray-winged Saltator, a species found in Serra dos Órgãos National Park and threatened with extinction. The brand also features illustrations of glasses that, when seen together, form the Serra dos Órgãos mountains as if they were the beer’s own foam head. In other words, they symbolize that the freshness of the mountains is present in every flavor created. Malt, wheat, bottles, and barrels are all part of the brewing process and are also illustrated. The logo was designed with casual, freehand calligraphy, with no concern for symmetry or strict rules.
